Artist's note: Abdullah believes this to be the worst stealer of energy from man and, conversely, the best source of energy for the Moon. Resentment is rarely in a straight line but meanders all over the place. It causes most ills, especially in the human body, and does a great deal to prop up the ego physically. Once one finds resentment in oneself one must endeavour to be ruthless in its destruction. The painting shows how it comes from the senses and is under the law of seven.
