There was once a teacher of languages who thought he was a pretty smart fellow. You know we have told you that in some countries they used to have a boatman to row people across the rivers - well this teacher got onto a ferry boat and he said to the boatman with a bit of a laugh, 'Have you ever studied grammar?'
The boatman replied, 'No, I haven't done that,' and the teacher said, 'Well you have lost half your life by not being able to appreciate grammar.'
The boatman felt very sad about this but he didn't say anything and listened quietly as the teacher teased him. While they were crossing the river, a wind made the boat go around into a whirlwind and the boatman shouted to the teacher, 'Can you swim?' The teacher said, 'No, I can't swim.' Next the boatman said, 'Well, your whole life is lost, because the boat is sinking in this whirlpool.'
When we judge we usually find fault in the other and this is a very silly thing to do as you can see in the story.
